After some lads have had 2 weeks off and others have been called up into the 2s the Keelmen are raring to get back at it - even if it is in an artic atmosphere!

It is full steam ahead here in Sunderland - trying to keep the match going ahead as planned at Hillview (which is notorious for the tropical climate). We've just been up there to check the pitch out and it looks okay so far, check back in on here for updates on all 3 games.

Sunderland has to win this game to increase the points gap between them and Whitley bay and try and pull their way back to catch up with league leaders South Shields 1XV which will be a challenge the lads are determined to take on.

Kick-off is 2 PM at Hillview Playing fields - all support is appreciated
