A brace of tries from Vinnie and Tom capped a great team performance at Ashbrooke.
The lads saved one of the best performances of the season to run in nine tries against a dogged Darlo.
Dino opened the scoring, when he gathered a delicious Vinnie cross field kick to touch down in the in goal area. Unconverted.
Darlo broke through from an uncollected kick off to level it at 5-5. Then Chris nudged a chip through, gathered by Vinnie who fed Ethan then Zach T who scorched through to score out wide. Unconverted.
Darlo scored from a rolling maul to tie the scores, but Tom sniped from a ruck 6 metres out, evading tacklers to score. Chris converting. Tom was at it again minutes later, after a dart and pass to Ethan who made 30 metres, off loading to Jai who fed Tom for his second. The last time he scored two, he was still watching Mr Tumble on telly.
With strong runs from Josh, Adam and Vinnie, the latter nabbed two either side of half time, while David smashed over from 5 metres out. Chris slotting three conversions. Josh sprinted clear from 50 metres to score and Ethan sealed the win before Darlo mauled it over for the final score.
Special mention for Zak K, who was superb in attack and defence, Will, who turned out for both teams. And the ref, Mr Irwin, spot on in his first outing as a qualified ref.
